you cant have a picnic in the car!

So yesterday (sunday) we wanted to do something fun as a family, and decided that taking a drive and having a picnic wouldnt break the sabbath. So that is what we did....sortof. We drove up to lakeside and made a quick stop at my cousins house so i could borrow the last book from the twilight series. and the second i got back in the car it started pooring rain!!! Sicely said, mooooommmmm, you took to long now our food is wasted! so i exsplained to her that the food is not wasted and that we can still have a picnic in the car. She didnt think that was possible but after she thought about it she thought that was so funny! and that is exsactly what we had to do! it was pretty dang funny seeing brian fit thru the seats and sit inbetween them! as soon as we were done eating the rain stoped... figures! oh well it was a good effort and we still had fun!
