We flew to san diego friday oct 10 for our 7 year anniversary. weve never done anything so decided to spoil our selves this year.
This is the USS Midway- it is over by seaport village in san diego it was in service to the navy 1945 until 2004. they had an audio tour so we wore head phones and it would have a sign like #1 so you would push #1 and it would tell you all about that area. it was really neat. Brian LOVES history so he really really liked it... and sence i was such a sweet wife to tour a ship we went and got pedicures and manicures after dinner. how annoying are the people who work here and dont speak english?? SO ANNOYING! lets just say that they were having a $25 dollor special for both and thats what we said we wanted- well by the time we were done which the only thing they did good was the polish job... anyways it was surpose to be $50 and the guy tried to charge up $71. because they buffed brians nails and because they put two spiders on my toes which took 30 seconds and becuase they put white polish on my nails in stead of a full color. and i said no we are not paying that, we said we wanted the $25 dollor special and after arguring for a while i gave him 60 and said that is all i'm paying, he said fine! you leave now! brian and i laughed about it the whole trip. after that we went to the beach! it was freezing and windy!!
This was A humungouse statue by the ship of a sailor giving a nurse a kiss goodbye or hello. can you see the people at the bottom, there not even as tall as the shoes.

This is at Seaport village, we walked around the shops and i was a little disapointed because last time i was there (like 10 years ago) there was a ton of entertainment- like musicians and a guy would stack rocks on top of eachother like he would use a little pebble and then balance a huge rock on top anyways there was no one.
