Day # 2 - Saturday

Saturday morning we had to leave our motel at 5:45am to get to the zoo by 6:30. it was only about 3 miles from our motel but we wanted to give ourselves plenty of time to check in... they were having a 5k walk for the frogs and we wanted to do that.... so we got lost and it took us a good 1 1/2 to find the zoo! how pathetic is that. so after missing a million of exits and driving the wronge way (i admit it was all me... but to my defence i told him i am the WORST navigator ever!!- my mom learned this when we were in california for cammies wedding years ago and i took us to the ocean- oops!) anyways so after also stopping a getting directions and yelling at each other we finally got there- laughed it off and had a great time! the walk was amazing and brian was a speed walker, and me of the other hand wanted to enjoy it! we really both loved it and were so glad we got up so early to participate in this event. it was really croweded i was surprised how many people showed up for the frogs!


After the 3k walk for the frogs we got free addmission to the zoo- sooo fun, my favorite part of our trip. the phoenix zoo sucks!! compaired to this one. it was beautyful and the animals looked alive and the trainers were out by most of the exhibits and told us all about them and the animals personalitys and the eliphant did tricks - it was amazing!


this baby gorilla was so cute, it would come and look at all the kids looking at him. we stayed and watched them all for a good 20 min, they were so interesting and playful.


He is sitting like a real man! this guy was so funny, he would walk along the plastic wall and hit the wall where someone was trying to take a pic and scare them, then he would put his butt in front of the camera... they were all so facinating, they seamed like they new what was going on and they really did seem like humans.


this was so amazing.... you could pay $5 and feed the garrafs right out of your hands (i know i'm bad at spelling) the line was tooo long- so we didnt do it

After the zoo we went to an aquarium place called the scripps it was so so. we thought it would be better- but glad we checked it out.

This is Hotel Del Coronado - a very richy place all though it is very old. very popular to the old celebritys. even if you are not staying there you can walk around and see it and go down to the beach. it was pretty but i am a cheepo.
