great find

I was at my friend Rachels house and she gave me a kashi bar. and me being a health nut looked at all the ingredients and they were GOOD! So last night at the store I got more Kashi bars (in the cereal isle) I like the peanut butter best And also their kashi Garlic and herb Chicken pizzas are really good too! whole wheat crust and none of that bad stuff like the hydronated oils... anyways we had that for dinner - i have to say i loved it! anyways thought i would share the great info! now if anyone could introduce me to a dessert that is healthy to eat i would be complete! :)

I'm a big fan of the Kashi stuff too. I like their granola bars. :o) I wish I could help you with the dessert........

I don't know of any "healthy" desserts but when I'm being good there are two treats that I think are not too naughty.
This one is still pretty fatty but low carb and high protein for a dessert its "chocolate mousse" just use low fat Ricotta cheese and cocoa and stevia to sweeten. Even if you still need a little regular sugar for taste, using the stevia helps you use less sugar than normal. This is not my favorite but it's good if you need a chocolate fix.
The other one is "Blueberry ice cream" which is just frozen blueberries (a quarter cup or so) barely cover w/ half and half and again a little stevia and/or sugar and just a smidge of salt (seriously like 5 grains) to bring out the flavors. Mmmmm blueberries and cream.
