so i am up late because i cant stop thinking about my eyes... last friday i got eye lasik sergery, i have been wanting this for over 10 yrs and finally got the courage and willing to pay for it.
right now if i could turn back time i would run away and never look back... i would be grateful for contacts and glasses and never complain again.
i hope that in a couple of weeks the regret will be gone.
the sergery was a desaster... the assistant accidently poured alcohol in my eyes in stead of saline solution... they did lasik PLUS PRK (which is an entirely different percedure) so i got two surgery done at once. the surgery hurt the whole time which it wasnt surpose to hurt AT ALL. They sent me home... i was in horrific pain for 24 hrs.
I was surpose to drive myself to my followup apt. the next morning and i couldnt even open my eyes... still in so much pain
they put non perscription contacts in my eyes to use as a bandaid (which they should have done the day before after messing up the procedure...
my left eye is ok...but my right eye is unusable right now. they say it will heal...
right now i am just freaking out and regreting every thought of ever doing this
all they say is they are sorry.
THESE ARE MY EYES!!!
I am so frusterated and hope i can get thru this... i would really appreciate prayers that my right eye will heal and that i will be able to see out of it!

That is the saddest story I have heard in a long time! I am so sorry to hear about your horrible experience of getting surgery and them messing it up and causing you pain! I hope you are not in pain anymore and things are getting better for you! My deepest sympathy goes to you.
Amber, oh my goodness... I wish I could be there to help and hang out. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I could fix everything. I would make sure to tell the doctors a million times that they aren't cool. I hope more than anything that your eyes heal well.
