The Craziest Russells Around

EASTER! Well we celebrate easter baskets and the whole candy/egg hunt thing on saturday. so that we can focus on the true meaning of easter on Sunday ( another one of my moms traditions!) So saturday the girls went and found their easter baskets that were hiding in the tub. I mostly put in crafts and stuff like that... (some candy, but not a lot) that morning we went to an easter egg hunt and their was a big pot luck lunch. yummy! it was fun until we were leaving and sicely was running to the car and tripped on a piece of sidewalk that was stickin up, they dakota decided to run and tripped at the same spot, so both girls were crying and screaming.. then in the car on our way home, brian was driving and starts freaking out and grabbs something off his neck... it was a fire ant. it got him good twice. (nice memories!) Sunday morning we went to church and were sitting in the back.. are we the only family that buys easter outfits for our kids?? i thought that i got the date wronge and thought easter must be next sunday, my girls were the only ones in matching outfits and all dolled up. I usually make the girls easter outfits but i got tired of making people help me, i'm not the best sewer... i think that buying is easier!!!!! My sweet Dakota hates her hair being all rubberbanded and decided put pull it all out in primary.. little terd! Kind of a bummer all my family is so far.. nobody to share easter dinner with.
